2011 Mite Select Coach is Alison Wilson

North Langley Softball is proud to announce the 2021 coach of the Mite Select Team – Alison Wilson!

Alison brings with her a wealth of experience and our association is lucky to have her.

Alison grew up in Delta and played for the Heat and the Sunfire/Invaders. She went on to play for the University of Victoria and was captain for 4 years.

Further, Alison implemented a Catching Clinic to support their pitching clinics in Ridge Meadows and coached Midget A as well as assisting in their skills clinics.

2011 Mite Select Team—What to expect?

This team will be in the MS LMSC interlock, and historically have played all over the Lower Mainland, likely Monday and Wednesday, based on past history. Of course the rules set out by Softball BC in regards to COVID play will be followed. The team will also play several tournaments (if able), concluding with the U10 Provincials in Burnaby at Squint Lake Park, on the July long weekend. While this program is a “prequel” to rep ball, there will still be development for all athletes. From time to time during tournament play, things may get a bit tighter on the bench. Offseason training will likely be 1 team practice a week, plus batting practice once a week.

Tryouts have been set for November 15th from 5pm to 630pm at TOCA.

For the players, that would like to try out for the Mite Select team, the registration link is listed below.

All players MUST register for tryouts, walk ups will not be allowed.

Lastly, for those that don’t want to try-out, no problem, your daughter will be placed in traditional U10 division next year to have fun!
