General Skills Clinic with Mya Galbraith
The North Langley Softball Annual Kick Off the New Year General Skills Clinic is back! Great fun filled skills sessions to get ready for the upcoming 2020 season!
Who: Mya Galbraith - Accepted to SFU in 2020, current member of the Fraser Valley Fusion 03. Mya is excited to work with our youth and brings an extensive amount of knowledge to our clinic.
When: January 12, 19, 26 2020, February 2, 9, 16, 23 2020, March 1,8 2020
Times: 2009-2013 age group 1:30-2:30pm / 2008-older age group 2:30-3:30pm
Where: Yorkson Creek Middle School, 20686 84 Ave, Langley, BC
Cost: $60.00 (includes softball t-shirt)
Each registered player who brings a friend who is new to North Langley Softball will be free! This is the perfect time to see what softball is all about!
Details: 2009-2013 age group will be a fun filled practice with various softball games/drills to help build skills & confidence.
2008-older age group will be put through a practice session emphasizing & focusing on various drills & replicating game like situations.
** All Players are to have their own glove & face mask. Bats/softballs will be supplied but if you have your own bat please feel free to bring it.**
This program is open to our “rec” program first and foremost, if time slots are not filled then we will offer up open times to athletes within our “rep” program.
Hitting Clinic with Kaitlyn Cameron
This program is open to our "rec" program first and foremost, if time slots are not filled then we will offer up open times to athletes within our "rep" program. After we have looked after rep, we may potentially open up to outside associations to fill spots.
Who: Kaitlyn Cameron - SFU Clansmen Alumni; Current Head Coach Fusion 2006A
When: January 13, 20, 27, February 3, 10, 24 and March 2
Where: Walnut Grove Batting Cages
Cost: $80 for 7 sessions for current NLDS Members, $100 for 7 sessions for NON NLDS Members
Times: Each time slot will have a maximum of 5 athletes for the younger groups and 6 for the older groups.

2020 North Langley Softball Pitching Clinics with Anna Rudetsky
(Fraser Fusion 03A) & Liv Chandra (Delta Heat 03A)
North Langley Softball is excited to welcome both Anna & Liv to our winter training program & the Tincher Training pitching instruction they will be providing. Both instructors have received Tincher pitching training from Kim Wright instructional clinics. This pitching clinic will be a fun filled technical instruction to help get ready for the season & continued growth as a pitcher.
Anna is currently playing with Fraser Valley Fusion 03 program as a Pitcher/1B & softball playing career of 10 years and Liv is currently playing with the Delta Heat as a Pitcher/1B.
Dates: Friday Nights, February 7, 21, 28 & March 13
Place: Katzie Elementary, 6887 194A Street Surrey, BC
Cost: North Langley Softball Members $30 for 4 sessions

All pitchers need to have a catcher, that can be a teammate, parent, sibling, etc. We can supply facemasks as needed.
This program is open to our "REC" program first and foremost and will be given priority. If time slots are not filled we will open up to athletes in our REP programs and then potentially to outside associations.
2020 Catching Clinic with Megan Heriot
North Langley Softball and Langley Fastpitch Association are proud to announce our 2020 Winter Catching Clinic with Megan Heriot.
Great fun filled technical catching instruction to get ready for the upcoming 2020 season!
Megan Heriot is an alumni of the University of Jamestown, in North Dakota where she caught for 4 years. She is currently coaching with the Storm 06A team and has been involved in coaching teams for 5 years. She began running softball catching clinics in 2014 and has continued since, working with various levels of athletes. Her clinics will focus on basic catching fundamentals, such as, receiving position, receiving/framing, blocking, throwing, bunt defence, commanding the field, and more!
When: January 30 2020, February 13, 20, 27 2020, March 5, 12 2020

2008 - older age group 6:00 - 7:00pm
All Players will be provided with catcher's gear, you will be responsible for the gear & return upon completion of the clinic

Softball BC has mandated coaches meet a certain requirement.
We support and encourage all of our coaches to take clinics and get certified by paying for their attendance at coaching clinics. New coaches will find assistance available from others in the organization with more experience.
Starting 2020, all coaches are required to take the online course on the Fundamentals of Coaching prior to the season starting. As well all C (Rec) coaches, U12 and up will be required by Softball BC to have completed Community Coaching certification (replaces what was formerly known as Level 1).
For coaches U12 and up:
Community Coaching certification is now replacing NCCP Level 1.
Community Coaching Clinic:
Feb 29 – Mar 1: 8:30 – 5:00 each day at Alex Hope Elementary.

This is open to all coaches. Teaches you how to run a practice, pre game warm up etc. There will also be a Q&A period. Please make note that it is paid parking
